Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Technician and become a vital part of providing exceptional animal care! We encourage lifelong learning. Duties Assist veterinarians during medical examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures using aseptic techniques and veterinary terminology. Perform animal restraint and handling for various species including dogs, cats, and equines, ensuring safety for animals and staff. Collect medical samples such as blood or urine Support kennel operations by caring for hospitalized animals, monitoring their condition, and administering treatments under veterinarian supervision. Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by communicating treatment plans and post-care instructions clearly to pet owners. Assist with animal husbandry tasks including feeding, cleaning enclosures, and ensuring proper animal nutrition and comfort. Requirements Experience working in a veterinary hospital Strong animal handling skills with proficiency in dog training techniques and animal restraint methods. Experience with veterinary laboratory procedures, medical collection techniques, and aseptic protocols. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration; customer service experience is highly valued.
