Job Summary The Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash application, reconciliations, and general accounting support. This position assists with maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and communicating with internal departments and external vendors/customers as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Process and record daily cash receipts, checks, ACH, and wire transactions. Prepare and issue customer invoices and maintain customer account records. Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances. Assist with accounts payable processing, vendor inquiries, and payment support. Maintain and reconcile company credit card transactions, receipts, and related records. Support monthly account reconciliations and general ledger activities. Assist with month-end closing procedures and reporting tasks. Assist with fixed asset tracking, reconciliation, and supporting schedules. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. Reconcile intercompany transactions as assigned. Support sales and operational teams regarding accounting-related inquiries. Assist with petty cash tracking and reconciliation. Communicate collaboratively within the accounting team and across departments. Perform ad hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting support preferred. QuickBooks Online experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience preferred Japanese language skills required.
