Qualifications Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Demonstrated ability to interact positively with students, parents, and staff The ability to supervise and direct students in organized activities The necessary physical agility to perform supervisory functions General knowledge of first aid Ability to use appropriate discipline procedures and implement approved

Under the immediate supervision of the building principal (or designee), the monitor will perform student supervision in a variety of areas or situations.
Examples:
Supervising of crosswalks, playground (before and after school and at noon), cafeteria, bus riders, physical education program including intermural sports or at other times as determined assigned by the principal. Performs all other related duties as assigned by the principal.
Job Characteristics:
Performs supervision of children, utilizing appropriate skills of student supervision.
Example of Duties:
Supervises students in a variety of situations, using appropriate activities and strategies to ensure student safety and well-being.
