Hours are 10:15-2:00 Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Endeavour Elementary Wing as a Lunch Aide. This part-time position is essential in creating a safe and welcoming environment for students during lunchtime. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising students, ensuring their safety, and promoting positive social interactions among peers. Responsibilities Supervise students during lunch periods to ensure a safe and orderly environment. Assist students in locating their seats and managing their lunch items. Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among students. Monitor student interactions to ensure compliance with school rules and regulations. Help maintain cleanliness in the lunch area by cleaning tables and assisting with the disposal of trash. Provide support to students with special needs as required. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding any concerns or incidents. Participate in training and staff meetings as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards children. Must pass a background check and comply with school district policies. Availability to work during lunch hours on weekdays.
