Support High-Impact Engineering Projects Through Precision Document Control as a Document Control Specialist!
Pay Rate:
$33.99/hr PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-focused Document Control Specialist to support complex engineering and project execution activities. In this role, you'll manage project documentation, maintain revision control, coordinate document distribution, and ensure compliance with established standards throughout the entire project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys organization, project support, stakeholder collaboration, and managing critical project information in a fast-paced technical environment. Experience within the oil & gas industry is strongly preferred. What You'll Do Document Control & Distribution Process incoming and outgoing transmittals accurately and efficiently Distribute project documentation according to established project requirements and distribution matrices Ensure all documents are processed within one business day Maintain document accuracy and compliance throughout the project lifecycle Tracking & Reporting Generate weekly reports on document status and project deliverables Monitor document progress and provide visibility into outstanding actions Maintain project document indexes using project-specific templates Track and manage document revisions and updates Project & Customer Support Support internal and external document requests Assist project teams, suppliers, and customers with document-related inquiries Help establish project-specific document control requirements Provide guidance on document management procedures and best practices Document Management Systems Support users of the UOP Document Management System (ProjectWise) Assist with project setup and administration within ProjectWise Ensure records are properly maintained and accessible Maintain complete document history and audit trails Compliance & Quality Assurance Adhere to document retention and management standards Ensure compliance with departmental procedures and project requirements Maintain complete revision histories throughout project execution Support budget and productivity targets while maintaining document quality Required Qualifications Experience in document control, project coordination, records management, or related administrative functions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience managing technical or project documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications Experience in the oil and gas industry Experience working with ProjectWise or other document management systems Engineering, EPC, manufacturing, or industrial project experience Understanding of document revision control and transmittal processes Experience supporting suppliers, customers, and project teams in a technical environment Why Join Us? Pay Details:
