Job Description

Fire Safety Officer I Full Time

JR-10220

Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED and experience in fire-fighting equipment maintenance, fire prevention or fire fighting.

Preferred Requirements:

Education:

AA, AAS or AS; preferred area in Emergency Services, or other related field.

Experience:

1+ year of full time paid firefighter experience and/or 1+ year of full time EMT experience.

Licenses/Certifications:

SC Drivers License; NFPA, IFSAC or Proboard FFI and FFII, Current

NREMT &/OR SC

EMT-Basic Certification;

NIMS-ICS 100, 200, 700 & 800

; National Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Responder Training.
