Job Description

Wyandotte Nation Government is currently accepting applications for a full-time Wyandotte Nation Police Officer. Successful candidate will be responsible for providing law enforcement service within the Wyandotte Nation Reservation and community. Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice preferred or high school diploma/GED certificate, plus qualified experience in law enforcement. Must be BIA or
C.L.E.E.T.
certified or eligible for reciprocity and qualify for BIA Cross-Commission. Required to climb, crouch, work in areas that are close and crowded, perform keyboarding, lift up to and over 100 pounds, push/pull up to 100 pounds, be exposed to infectious agents, chemical agents, extreme temperature and/or humidity, power equipment and heights. Must be able to run and exhibit endurance during physical altercation or apprehension. Must pass a background check, physical, drug test and maintain a valid driver's license. How to
