This is a full time in office position, with an option of turning into a hybrid position based on performance. Whether you're balancing family life, personal passions, or just value your time outside of work, we'll work with your schedule. About the Role We're looking for a detail oriented, smart, self-motivated attorney who enjoys solving problems for startups and growth companies. Someone who is comfortable pivoting from drafting a commercial agreement in the morning to looking at Series A documents in the evening. You'll work directly with clients and firm partners from day one, and your voice will be valued in shaping how we grow together. We are not a late night, burn the midnight oil firm, we're proud to say we respect 9 to 5 boundaries. We want you to enjoy practicing law. Seriously. What You'll Be Doing Helping founders form new companies and restructure existing ones to support their long term goals Advising clients on funding rounds, from angel and seed investments to Series A, B, and C financings Structuring and closing M&A transactions for our dynamic client base Helping companies restructure their debt or shut down operations Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, IP licenses, and service agreements Doing deep dive legal research, sharing your insights, and making confident calls Acting as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, executives, and growing businesses What We're Looking For California licensed attorney (required) At least 3 years of relevant legal experience (required) Strong writing and proofreading skills (required) Organized, detail oriented, and comfortable seeking direction when necessary (required) Someone who communicates well, thinks strategically, and enjoys working directly with clients Confidence, good judgment, and a genuine enthusiasm for business law A book of business is a plus, but not required Ability to track time and meet deadlines without micro management Why Work With Us Flexible scheduling tailored to your life and responsibilities The freedom to work independently and the support of a team when you need it A culture that values quality of life, intellectual challenge, and mutual respect Highly competitive and negotiable compensation If you're looking for a place where your professional skills are valued and your personal life is respected, we'd love to hear from you.
