Solicitation for Professional Services - Public Defender Attorney Mineral County is seeking to contract with an attorney to provide Public Defender Services. The selected contractor will serve as one of two public defenders, representing indigent defendants in assigned by the court on a rotating basis. Scope of Services The attorney will be responsible for providing legal representation to indigent adult defendants and juvenile offenders, ensuring the protection of their rights through all stages of litigation. This includes but is not limited to, meeting with clients, conducting legal research, preparing and filing legal documents, and representing clients in court. Preferred Qualifications Candidates qualified to handle high level category A and B cases are preferred; however, all qualified candidates will be considered.
