Job Description
Our Conroe office is seeking a reliable and energetic associate attorney licensed to practice in Texas. As an associate, you'll be part of a collaborative environment, working closely with partners, colleagues, staff, and clients, gaining hands-on experience in every phase of litigation - all without the pressure of billable hour requirements. Starting Compensation $85,000 - $100,000 per year Essential Duties Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, notices, and judgments Conduct legal research and analyze issues, including chains of title and tax matters Prepare for dockets and represent clients in court appearances Collaborate with staff on collection and litigation activities Communicate with clients, taxpayers, and opposing counsel Participate in business development, including networking events and statewide conferences Professional Skills Effectively manage a large caseload Identify and analyze complex issues Provide research that is thorough and responsive to issue at hand Write in an organized, clear, and concise manner Work in a supervisory position Required Experience 0-2 years of legal experience preferred Admitted to the
