A distinguished law firm with offices throughout the Eastern United State has a need for a Senior Legal Assistant. The Legal Assistant will provides administrative and clerical support to a team of attorneys, including preparing legal documents, managing schedules and deadlines, communicating with clients, and utilizing practice-specific software. Works both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities Prepare, draft, and format legal documents, correspondence, and other materials Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting accuracy Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, depositions, hearings, and travel arrangements Assist with client intake, file management, and electronic/paper document organization Coordinate billing tasks, matter intake/update forms, check requests, and other administrative duties Provide support to attorneys and collaborate with other Legal Assistants in a fast-paced environment Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while supporting daily legal operations Requirements 3 + years of legal assistant exp in IP or similar area of law Associate or Bachelor`s degree preferred Knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, court procedures, docketing, and electronic filing Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office and document management systems Excellent proofreading, organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information Key Resource Group, LLC considers applicants for all positions without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, sexual orientation, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, citizenship, veteran status, gender expression and/or identity, or any other class protected by federal, state, or local laws.
