Seeking candidates who live near our main office in Waterbury. We currently have 5 full time paralegals and are seeking more qualified candidates to supplement our growing business. Working hours are between 30-40 hours per week. Pay competitive based on experience and skill level.
Duties to include:
Knowledge of Microsoft office suite (word, excel, outlook) Answering telephones and Reception duties Scanning Calling on medical records and billing Getting balances of medical billing Filing of scans into electronic folders Sending out basic correspondence to insurance companies and clients Faxing Calling providers to get referrals Contacting clients for status updates Obtaining declaration sheets, health ins premiums, lost wages, photos, prop damage estimates Help with preparing client file for settlement Diary system on calendar Working with Medicare to get liens Working with health insurance companies on liens and making sure medicals are related Helping with Discovery responses Necessary skills : Excellent Telephone, verbal, and written communication skills Honest, ethical, and able to maintain client confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills Good attitude and wiliness to help any way can Team player Strong work ethic Professionalism and high level of ethics Dependability Able to Multitask and calmly accomplish tasks without allowing stress to paralyze performance Proficiency in using the computer and the Microsoft office suite of products (word, excel, outlook)
