Based in Naperville, IL and Plantation, FL, our practice areas encompass foreclosure, bankruptcy, corporate services, appellate and commercial litigation, and real estate transactions. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit bankruptcy pleadings, notices, and letters for attorney and client review. This includes documents such as Motions for Relief, Proofs of Claim, Objections to Plan, Reaffirmation Agreements, Transfer of Claims, NOPC and Notice of Default referrals. Review foreclosure files to determine appropriate chain of title and proceed with correction methods if needed. Adjust pleadings according to attorney and client revision requests. Process court results by updating the case management system and client systems. Update client systems, including ICE, Tempo, ADR, as applicable. Electronically file bankruptcy pleadings. Review and handle ECF (Electronic Case Filing) notifications, forwarding emails to attorneys as needed. Schedule attorneys or Co-Counsel to appear at hearings when necessary. Notify clients of new bankruptcy filings and bankruptcy dismissals. Monitor bankruptcy files to ensure compliance with client and court requirements. Request fee approvals for bankruptcy files.
