Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

  • Full-time A boutique estate planning and elder law firm seeks legal secretary/paralegal.
Must be detail oriented with excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills. Must have strong proofreading and grammatical skills. Attention to detail is a must. This position requires performing various support, clerical, and administrative roles related to a transactional-based law firm which include: Drafting and proofreading documents (estate planning and successions experience is a plus). Creating and maintaining client files. Maintaining workflow and deliverables deadlines. Screening phone calls, delivering messages, and providing callers with information as instructed. Maintaining attorney's calendar and coordinating meetings. Must have a high degree of integrity and the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Must be reliable and have a superior work ethic, including a stable work history and references. Must be able to maintain client confidentiality. Experience with real estate title research and drafting succession documents a plus.
