About us Hebert & Marceaux, LLC is a small business in Houma, LA. We are professional, collaborative and fast-paced. This will be a temporary position. We have a staff member going on maternity leave starting around the end of August. She plans to be on leave for three months.

Modern office setting Food provided We are seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to work directly with our attorneys and provide support for the company's legal team. The Paralegal Assistant will be responsible for filing, recordkeeping and other clerical duties in addition to providing general support to the legal department. Attention to detail is crucial, as is an ability to collaborate and work effectively in a professional environment. This job is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for law and wants to be a part of the company's future success.
Responsibilities:
Prepare correspondence, court documents, and legal filings. Compile, organize, and file legal information. Organize meetings, conversations, and events. Prepare office paperwork, such as purchase orders and invoices. Prepare legal documents. File paperwork with the court. Prepare court cases for trial.
