We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join a boutique law firm and provide high-level support within an active litigation practice. This position works closely with three partners and is well suited for someone who brings sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to legal support. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, preparing high-quality legal documents, and contributing to a team-oriented environment with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities:
- Support three litigation partners by coordinating day-to-day paralegal and administrative activities across active matters.
- Prepare, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other case-related documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized case files and supporting records so attorneys can quickly access materials throughout the life of each matter.
- Track calendars, court dates, filing deadlines, and shifting priorities to help keep matters moving efficiently.
- Assist with commercial, insurance, and reinsurance disputes by organizing documents and supporting case development.
- Use Microsoft Office, including Excel, to compile information, manage case data, and produce well-structured work product.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and external contacts regarding case-related matters.
- Take initiative in identifying attorney needs, handling follow-up tasks, and supporting a fast-paced litigation workload with minimal supervision.
