We are looking for a paralegal who shares our commitment to careful, detail-oriented work who thrives in a close-knit, supportive environment. This is a full-time hybrid Paralegal role, located in New Castle, DE. The Paralegal will be expected to work on-site at least three days each week, with remote work available for the remaining two days in the week following a sixty-day trial period (prior to the end of the trial period, the Paralegal will need to be on site five days each week). The Paralegal will support attorneys by preparing legal documents, reviewing case materials, and ensuring all case files are organized. Responsibilities also include managing communication with clients, coordinating with external entities, and assisting attorneys in trial preparation and court proceedings. What You'll Do
    • Manage case files from intake through resolution, keeping every detail organized and current
    • Draft discovery requests/responses, demand letters, and settlement documents
    • Coordinate with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters
    • Track deadlines with zero-margin-for-error precision
    • Prepare deposition and trial exhibits and assist attorneys with case preparation
    • Coordinate and schedule matters with opposing parties, experts, and the Court (depositions, etc.)
    • Order, review, and summarize medical records and bills
    • Order and update PIP payment ledgers and lien files Qualifications Proficiency in legal document preparation and document review Excellent communication skills for client interactions and collaboration with legal teams Familiarity with legal processes, procedures, and concepts Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certification (preferred but not mandatory) Experience in personal injury law or related fields Familiarity with medical terminology Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software is advantageous Must have good word processing skills Ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
