(National Electrical Code), and other relevant standards. Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies aligned with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) best practices. Monitor construction activities to manage risks effectively, including overseeing the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe work procedures. Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks to promote awareness of occupational health issues and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance documentation using construction management software. Collaborate with project managers and construction management teams to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation requirements. Respond promptly to safety incidents or near-misses, coordinating investigations and corrective actions as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management or working directly on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction processes. Bilingual (Spainish/English) Knowledge of OSHA standards, NEC codes, Workers' Compensation policies, and compliance management practices. Experience in excavation, utilities, and asphalt. Safety reps will be responsible for leading the crew's daily toolbox talks. Familiarity with EHS principles and construction management software tools for tracking safety metrics. Excellent communication skills to effectively conduct safety training sessions and coordinate with diverse teams. Ability to assess complex situations quickly and implement appropriate safety measures in high-pressure environments.
