This is a high-energy, response-driven business development role focused specifically on commercial fire losses . The successful candidate will monitor fire notification systems, respond quickly to commercial losses, establish relationships with key decision-makers, and position the company to provide emergency mitigation, contents, cleaning, demolition, reconstruction, and other restoration services. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with disaster restoration experience who understands the urgency of fire losses and thrives in a fast-moving, 24/7 environment . What You'll Do Monitor notification systems for commercial fire events. Receive real-time alerts when commercial losses occur. Evaluate losses and determine the appropriate response. Respond to commercial fire losses quickly , including nights, weekends, holidays, and after-hours emergencies. Meet with property owners, property managers, facility directors, insurance representatives, adjusters, and other stakeholders at the loss. Establish the company as the emergency restoration provider. Build relationships with decision-makers while the loss is actively unfolding. Identify opportunities for mitigation, contents, demolition, environmental services, reconstruction, and additional restoration work. Coordinate with operations, estimating, project management, and leadership once an opportunity is secured. Follow opportunities from the initial emergency response through the restoration and reconstruction process. Develop long-term relationships with commercial property contacts. Continue developing commercial business throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market between emergency losses. This Is Not a 9-to-5 Sales Role Fire Chasing requires speed, availability, persistence, and urgency . When a commercial fire notification comes in, you need to be ready to respond. Being first on scene and establishing the relationship quickly can be critical to securing the opportunity. You must be comfortable responding to emergency losses during: Nights Weekends Holidays Early mornings After-hours emergencies Ideal Background Previous disaster restoration sales or business development experience . Fire and smoke restoration experience strongly preferred. Experience responding to commercial losses. Existing relationships within the Dallas-Fort Worth commercial property market. Knowledge of commercial restoration and reconstruction. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations. Strong sense of urgency and competitive drive. Ability to quickly establish credibility with property owners and decision-makers. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Flexibility to respond to emergency losses throughout the DFW market. Commercial Relationships The immediate objective is responding to emergency losses. The long-term objective is building relationships and generating recurring commercial business . The alarm goes off. You go. You get to the property, establish the relationship, understand the situation, communicate what needs to happen next, and bring the restoration team into the conversation. Then you turn that emergency relationship into a long-term commercial relationship. Compensation $100K+ Base + Commission / Performance Incentives Compensation will be based on experience, existing commercial relationships, and demonstrated production. Additional company benefits and vehicle/expense arrangements may be available depending on the position.
