Command International Security Services is seeking a reliable, professional, and extremely observant Security Guard to control access at a warehouse/construction site. The officer will be stationed at the main entrance and will be responsible for ensuring that only authorized construction workers and personnel are permitted onto the property.

A VALID CALIFORNIA BSIS GUARD CARD IS REQUIRED.

What You'll Do:

Maintain a security post at the main entrance of the property. Verify that individuals entering the property are authorized construction workers or approved personnel. Check identification, access badges, credentials, or other authorization as required by the site. Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the property. Maintain a highly visible and professional security presence at the entrance. Remain standing and alert for the entire shift. Be extremely observant and attentive to detail when identifying individuals attempting to enter the property. Monitor incoming and outgoing personnel and report any suspicious or unauthorized activity. Communicate with site management regarding access issues or individuals who cannot be verified. Follow all site-specific access-control procedures and post orders. Respond professionally to individuals who are denied access or require assistance. Maintain accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and document any unusual activity or security incidents. Communicate with supervisors and site personnel using a radio or other communication devices. Must be willing to perform additional security-related duties not specifically listed in this advertisement as required by the client or site.

Requirements:

Valid California BSIS Guard Card - REQUIRED. Previous security, construction-site, warehouse, or access-control experience preferred. Must be able to stand for the entire shift. Must be extremely observant and maintain constant awareness of the entrance and surrounding activity. Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize unauthorized individuals. Must be comfortable checking identification and denying access when someone is not authorized. Professional communication and customer-service skills. Ability to remain calm and professional during confrontational or stressful situations. Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable. Must follow all post orders and client instructions. Must report to work in complete uniform and maintain a professional appearance. Reliable transportation to the worksite.

IMPORTANT JOB REQUIREMENT

This is a stationary entrance security position. The officer will be required to remain standing at the entrance for the full shift while actively monitoring and controlling access to the property. The officer must be highly observant and ensure that only authorized construction workers and approved personnel are allowed onto the site.
