Job Summary:

The Armed Security Guard is responsible for protecting property, assets, personnel, and visitors through vigilant surveillance and immediate response to threats. This role requires carrying a firearm and upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure security of premises. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems for unusual activity. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity. Conduct security checks and enforce access control procedures. Deter criminal activity through visible presence and proactive engagement. Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate daily logs. Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations and emergencies. Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and clients while maintaining confidentiality. Follow all state and federal regulations regarding the use of firearms and force. High school diploma or equivalent (required). Valid armed security license and permits as required by state law. Prior experience as a security guard or law enforcement officer is preferred. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle confrontational situations with professionalism. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to pass background checks, drug screening. Must be at least 21 years of age

Working Conditions:

May involve working nights, weekends, and holidays. Exposure to various weather conditions during outdoor patrols. Requires standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.
