Key Qualifications:

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or experience as a Paraeducator in autism program classrooms Demonstrated ability to assist young children, especially those with significant behavioral and communication challenges related to ASD Prior experience and comfort with toileting and diaper-changing duties Strong commitment to fostering a supportive, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Ability to adapt to changing needs, collaborate with school staff, and implement behavior strategies under supervision

Role Responsibilities:

Work onsite in a classroom dedicated to supporting children with autism, providing a blend of behavioral, educational, and personal care support Deliver individualized support per IEP goals, participate in daily classroom routines, and reinforce effective behavior management plans Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to monitor progress and adapt approaches as needed Employ patience, empathy, and consistency to engage students and create a nurturing learning atmosphere Safely assist with toileting and hygiene tasks, ensuring student dignity and comfort This is a full-time, 35-hour-per-week contract role designed for professionals passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with autism.
