In this vital role, you will oversee access control, monitor surveillance systems, and respond swiftly to incidents within the dispensary setting. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure atmosphere for staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while upholding the highest standards of safety and security regulations. Responsibilities Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, vendors, and visitors while verifying identification and credentials. Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV cameras and other monitoring equipment to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established protocols, including fire safety procedures, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other incidents accurately and clearly. Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills to handle disputes professionally and maintain a calm environment. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields with knowledge of physical security practices. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, firearm handling, and emergency response procedures is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and access control systems. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for safety or operational needs. Strong incident report writing skills with attention to detail and clarity. Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to interact professionally with staff and visitors. Knowledge of compliance with security regulations and protocols relevant to dispensary or healthcare environments.
