Not Eligible Position Overview We are seeking highly motivated and adaptable Ready Reserve Officers (RROs) to support security operations at a high-security campus in Red Oak, TX. This position serves as a flexible security resource that provides coverage for staffing shortages, vacations, call-offs, special assignments, and operational needs across multiple security functions. The Ready Reserve Officer is cross-trained to perform several critical security roles and may be assigned to work as a Control Room Supervisor (CRS), Security Responder, or Security Screening Officer based on business and operational requirements. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, technologically proficient, and capable of quickly adapting to changing assignments while maintaining exceptional security and customer service standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Multi-Role Security Support Provide coverage for staffing shortages across multiple security functions and shifts. Perform the duties of a Control Room Supervisor, Security Responder, or Security Screening Officer as assigned. Support daily security operations and campus-wide security initiatives. Maintain a high level of situational awareness and professionalism in all assignments. Security Operations Monitor and support access control, visitor processing, and security screening operations. Conduct patrols, incident response activities, and operational support functions. Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and unusual events. Identify, document, and escalate security concerns in accordance with established procedures. Training and Development Train and certify security personnel on site procedures, policies, and operational responsibilities. Provide coaching and mentorship to security officers. Assist with onboarding and development of new personnel when assigned. Documentation and Reporting Complete detailed incident reports, activity logs, and operational documentation. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with site procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors, leadership, and security personnel regarding operational concerns and incidents. Minimum Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older . Must possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. High School Diploma or GED required. Prior security experience required. Ability to work any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and demeanor. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a Security Supervisor, Control Room Operator, Security Responder, Screening Officer, or Lead Officer. Experience with access control systems, CCTV monitoring, visitor management systems, and security screening procedures. Experience in corporate, critical infrastructure, industrial, technology, or high-security environments. Training, coaching, or mentoring experience. CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications preferred. Technical Skills Candidates must be comfortable using technology and be proficient with: Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Teams Windows Operating Systems Electronic reporting and incident management systems Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to conduct patrols and respond quickly to incidents. Ability to maintain focus and situational awareness throughout the shift. Ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, walking, or sitting depending on assignment.
