 Commissioned Security Officers (Level III) and Non-Commissioned Security Officers (Level II) Openings in: Mission, Edinburg, Edcouch, Mercedes, San Benito, Harlingen and Olmito. All applicants must qualify for a security guard license to work. Commissioned Security Officer (Level III) Pay starts at 11.00 /
Hour :
 A Commissioned Security Officer is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. Officers perform security patrols, monitor for suspicious activity, enforce client policies, respond to emergencies, and prepare detailed incident reports. Commissioned officers may carry a firearm while on duty when assigned to an armed post and must maintain all required state licensing and firearms qualifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned locations on foot or in a vehicle. Monitor for suspicious or criminal activity. Respond to emergencies, alarms, and disturbances. Enforce client rules and company policies. Control access to facilities and verify authorized entry. Complete accurate incident, activity, and daily reports. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence. Maintain all required DPS licensing, firearms qualifications, and certifications. Safely carry and operate issued firearms and equipment in accordance with state law and company policy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer License. Valid driver's license (if required by assignment). Ability to pass background screening and drug testing. Strong communication and decision-making skills. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Non-Commissioned Security Officer (Level II) Pay starts at 9.50 /
Hour :
 A Non-Commissioned Security Officer is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets through observation, prevention, and reporting. Officers provide a visible security presence, monitor assigned areas, control access, assist visitors, and respond appropriately to incidents while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned properties to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and access points. Observe and report suspicious activity or safety hazards. Complete daily activity logs and incident reports. Assist visitors, employees, and customers as needed. Respond to emergencies and notify law enforcement or emergency personnel when appropriate. Enforce client policies and company procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver's license (if required by assignment). Ability to pass background screening and drug testing. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
