Heli-1 Corporation is expanding its fleet and seeking experienced A&P Mechanics to join our growing team of maintenance professionals. We operate Airbus H125, Airbus H145, Bell 205, Bell 212, and UH-60 helicopters, supporting aerial firefighting, utility work, and other mission-critical operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a company that values expertise, professionalism, and safety.
Position Overview:
We are hiring A&P Mechanics to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in both field and hangar environments. Mechanics will be required to travel for field operations, particularly during the fire season, with a rotational schedule. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring aircraft remain mission-ready and compliant with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on UH-60 helicopters. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Maintain accurate maintenance records in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies. Ensure aircraft readiness for firefighting and utility operations. Work in both field and hangar environments, including remote locations. Travel as needed to support fleet operations in domestic and international locations. Collaborate with flight crews and other maintenance personnel to ensure operational efficiency. Requirements FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate, held for at least 24 months. At least 12 months of experience on UH-60 helicopters. Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing operational needs. Valid U.S. passport.
Preferred Qualifications:
USFS/DOI
carded on one or more of the listed aircraft. Factory training on any of the listed airframes or engines. Inspection Authorization (IA) certification.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive pay: $400 - $700 per day, based on experience and aircraft qualifications. Full-Time rotational work schedules. Travel expenses covered, plus per diem when working away from base. Company-provided housing during assignments. Health insurance. HSA with company match.
