The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, installations, and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. Position is located in Torrington, CT.

• JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• + Provide fire alarm service, inspections and installation calls. + Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing

• JOB REQUIREMENTS

• + Must possess a C, L, or E Connecticut Electrical License + Applicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.

+ Prior fire alarm experience in installations, inspections and servicing codes. + Excellent communications, and customer service skills. + Ability and desire to mentor and pass on knowledge to all levels of trainees. + Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.

• In addition to the above, the most desirable candidate will have, but not required:
• + Applicable experience either in the fire protection/fire alarm industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity.

+ A fire alarm systems background or a background working as a licensed electrician. Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
