Position Summary The primary responsibility of a Security System Technician is to install, service, repair, and inspect electronic security systems for residential and commercial customers, including intrusion alarms, fire alarm systems, video surveillance, and access control. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, is motivated to perform at a high level, and has a positive attitude. Experienced technicians are preferred, but we also offer an outstanding paid trainee program for motivated individuals who want to build a career in the electronic security industry with opportunities for rapid advancement and pay increases. Specific Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Passion for technology and learning new systems Enjoys working with their hands and seeing projects through to completion Excellent customer service and communication skills Previous experience with networking, low-voltage wiring, or field service work preferred Experience pulling and terminating low-voltage cable preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ohio Fire License preferred, but not required Pre-Employment Requirements Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and reference verification.
