In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced automotive structural repairs, auto body restoration, and cosmetic refinishing with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in welding, fabrication, and vehicle repair techniques will ensure that every vehicle is restored to its original condition or better. Duties Perform complex auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural alignment using advanced welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and automotive welding equipment. Utilize fabrication skills to create custom parts or modify existing components through cutting, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques. Install automotive parts such as bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision using hand tools and power tools. Apply automotive structural repair methods to restore vehicles to factory specifications, ensuring safety and durability. Communicate effectively with the shop supervisor to source and obtain required parts promptly and accurately. Maintain high standards of workmanship and conduct through quality checks before delivery. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, use of sanding tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other shop operations. Requirements 10+ years of hands-on collision repair experience. Strong proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication techniques specific to automotive applications. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including automotive parts installation and vehicle maintenance procedures. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, automotive welding equipment. Must own your own set of auto body tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts installation. Valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is a must.
