Compensation:
100,000-150,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who wants to utilize their Auto Body Collision experience. About the Role Knoblock Auto Body in (South River, NJ) Very Busy Family-Owned Auto Body-Collision Shop is Seeking Experienced Auto Body Technician(s) that are motivated and energetic individuals to join our team as an Auto Body Repair Technician (A Tech). A-Technician(s) with Minimum 5 years' experience needed. This position is responsible for the repair of auto collision body work of vehicles, as well as sweeping and organizing their work area every day. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair, demonstrating exceptional mechanical knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As an Auto Body Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail and effective communication.
Skills:
Ability to diagnose vehicle issues Ability to work independently with little supervision Knowledge of collision auto body repairs Excellent organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Car-O-Liner Computerized frame machine experience is a plus. Must be experienced with various makes and models of vehicles. Proficient in structural repairs, quarter panels, rear body and frame repair, door skins, etc. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including frame straightening and panel replacement. Utilize various power tools and equipment for cutting, welding, and fabricating parts as needed. Inspect vehicles for structural damage and assess repair needs accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues. Proficiency in using power tools, welding equipment. Ability to fabricate parts as necessary for repairs. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work shifts. A valid driver's license is required.
