Overview Join our dynamic racing team as a Race Car Mechanic and become a vital part of high-performance motorsport excellence! In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing race cars to ensure peak performance on the track. We're looking for energetic, detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about automotive innovation and racing technology. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive systems in a mostly relaxed but sometimes high-impact environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive mechanical work on race cars using top-level equipment Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, and suspension set-ups. Utilize hand tools, fabrication tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools to execute repairs with precision. Diagnose complex issues related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other electronic components. Maintain detailed records of repairs, modifications, and inspections to ensure compliance with racing standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize vehicle setup for different track conditions. Prep truck and trailer for race events. Travel to south-eastern regional races Qualifications Experience working in the automotive or truck repair industry or motorsport teams. Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems. Familiarity with electronic diagnostics/repair is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, powertrain maintenance, and auto body Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Self-starter with ability to work unsupervised. No drug or alcohol dependencies. Dependable, trustworthy with a strong work-ethic over huge-resumes. Neat/organized work personal habits. Good-natured personality who is easy to get along with. Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 40.0 per week
