Pay Range:

$24.00 - $33.00 per hour (DOE & Certifications) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician with at least 2 years of professional shop or dealership experience . The ideal candidate possesses strong electrical and drivability diagnostic capabilities, performs under-car and under-hood repairs efficiently, and brings a dependable, professional work ethic to our team.

Please note:

This is a mid-level technician role. Candidates without prior professional shop experience will not be considered.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Minimum 2 years of professional working experience as an Automotive Technician in a commercial repair shop or dealership setting (Required).

Tools:

All hand and air/power tools appropriate for daily service duties will be provided and will not require you to have your own tools.

Diagnostics:

Proficiency with wiring schematics, flowcharts, scan tools, and online/in-shop diagnostic platforms.

Licensure:

Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and perform quality repairs on engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and HVAC systems. Safely operate shop diagnostic and service equipment (scanners, AC recovery, fluid exchange machines, vehicle lifts). Complete clear, professional documentation of vehicle findings for service advisors and customer estimates. Communicate technical diagnoses clearly and professionally with service advisors, fellow technicians, and customers when required. Preferred Certifications (A Plus) Active Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications. EPA Section 609 A/C Refrigerant handling certification.
