JM Lexus is looking for an Automotive Service Technician who thrives on diving into the nuts and bolts of vehicle diagnostics and repairs, and who takes pride in their specialization while also being versatile across all repair areas. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring vehicles not only run like a dream but are also up to the highest safety standards, as you road-test your work and stay informed on the latest technical updates and compliance regulations. Responsibilities:
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and handling different tasks and duties.
  • Functioning as a skilled-level technician who is able to perform diagnosis and repairs in all areas, in addition to being specialized in particular areas of repair.
  • Examining the vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is necessary
  • Road-testing vehicles to check work performed.
  • Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins.
  • Understanding and keeping abreast with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
  • Complying with manufacturer and dealer safety and environmental programs and practices.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.
