As a Design Analysis Fabricator and Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide array of vehicle projects, including, but not limited to, mechanical fabrication, design, and failure analysis. At times, you will work hand in hand with the customer. Team members also conduct vehicle reviews and live demonstrations of tests for video or in-person viewing.
Salary Overview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $26 per hour based on experience.
Hours:
The hours for this role are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Design Analysis Fabricator and Technician Responsibilities Include:
Fabrication of automotive parts and vehicles. Diagnose vehicles. Conduct vehicle reviews. Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service's DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
Design Analysis Fabricator and Technician Qualifications and Skills:
Must have a valid driver's license (Chauffeur's License is preferred). Tools are required. All shop equipment will be provided by the company. Must have verifiable mechanical skills in a related field of experience. ASE or State Certification in vehicle mechanics is preferred. Vehicle electronic diagnostic and programming experience is preferred. Understanding of fabrication, including welding and metalworking tools operation. Accredited welding certification is preferred. Experience in welding aluminum is preferred. Able to identify parts and vehicle components with a detailed understanding of vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose system failures. Knowledge of customer reporting requirements, based on vehicle or project. Willingness to travel in support of departmental work or projects. Must be able to work scheduled or last-minute overtime requests as needed or determined by management. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook applications preferred.
