Job Overview:
We are looking for experienced automotive technicians with a positive attitude that enjoy working in a professional shop. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Use your expert knowledge & skills to effectively diagnose and repair vehicles for our customers Continuously build experience as an automotive technician across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles Complete full, accurate, and honest vehicle inspections Troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate solutions to customer concerns Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications:
A positive attitude and a desire to serve customers 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician ASE certification preferred, or a desire and plan to achieve Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic capability preferred Meet or exceed hourly goals Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes Professional appearance and strong communication capabilities
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools Walk/stand for the majority of their workday Drive manual transmissions vehicles Efficiently navigate a computer Additional Information Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
