Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and certified GM Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on GM vehicles, including powertrain, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Utilize schematics and diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately. Repair or replace automotive components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery as needed. Work efficiently on complex systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, shocks & struts, and auto body repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to service advisors and customers. Adhere strictly to dealership safety protocols and industry best practices while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements Valid GM Certified Technician certification with proven experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands. Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair procedures is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge across various automotive systems including powertrain, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for accurate troubleshooting. Experience working with ADAS technology, air brake systems, heavy equipment mechanics, and auto body repair is advantageous. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain repairs and maintenance procedures to clients. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality workmanship. $47,143.36 - $120,000.00 per year
