Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and other mechanical systems with precision. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair and calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and other electronic systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to team members and customers. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on Toyota or similar brands. Valid certification as a Toyota Certified Technician or equivalent automotive technician certification. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, and diesel engines. Experience repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation for accurate troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service machinery. Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and air brake systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
