Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused team member to support daily vehicle movement and lot operations for a busy body shop and mechanical shop environment. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, staying active, and helping keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Move vehicles safely between service areas, parking locations, and pickup or delivery points. Support shuttle driving needs for customers, employees, or internal operations as assigned. Assist with organizing vehicle flow on the lot to maintain an orderly and efficient workspace. Perform vehicle checks before and after movement, noting any visible concerns and reporting them promptly. Maintain a clean, professional appearance of the lot, shuttle vehicle, and surrounding areas as needed. Provide courteous and professional interactions with customers, team members, and visitors. Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company guidelines while operating vehicles. Assist with additional shop support tasks as directed by management. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmissions if applicable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to walk, stand, and move vehicles throughout the shift. Previous experience in automotive, dealership, shuttle, valet, or porter work is helpful but not required. Preferred Attributes Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
