Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair and replace automotive parts utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized heavy equipment mechanics tools. Diagnose and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and auto electrical systems to ensure modern vehicle safety features function correctly. Work with diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics for specialized repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and machinery. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to guide repairs effectively while maintaining high-quality workmanship aligned with dealership standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical components. Skilled in using diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting complex issues. Experience repairing diesel engines and working with ADAS technology is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Knowledge of schematics for automotive electrical systems and mechanical systems repair procedures. Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts replacement. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professional integrity. Dealership experience or background working with GM vehicles is a plus but not required.
