Gladstone Honda is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor who is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will serve as the primary connection between our service customers and technicians, helping customers understand their vehicle's needs while keeping them informed throughout the repair process. Responsibilities Promptly greet service customers in a professional and courteous manner. Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document their service needs. Inspect vehicles and review service history to identify maintenance and repair requirements. Recommend appropriate services, parts, and accessories based on the customer's needs and manufacturer guidelines. Provide accurate estimates for service costs and completion times. Clearly explain recommendations and obtain proper customer authorization before work begins. Monitor repair progress throughout the day and communicate updates to customers. Obtain approval for changes involving cost, recommended services, or expected completion time. Administer new- and used-vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Confirm upcoming service appointments and conduct post-repair follow-up. Inspect completed vehicles before customer delivery to verify that authorized services and repairs were performed correctly. Review completed work with customers and answer any questions. Maintain accurate repair-order documentation. Follow all applicable state and federal automobile repair and consumer protection requirements. Demonstrate Gladstone Honda's values in every interaction with customers, coworkers, and vendors. Qualifications Experience in Automotive service. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer-service and relationship-building abilities. Professional appearance and work ethic. Positive attitude and high-energy personality. Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders effectively.
