The City of Corry is seeking a skilled and dependable CDL Inspection Mechanic to join our Public Works team. This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, inspection, and safe operation of City-owned vehicles and equipment, including light- and heavy-duty vehicles, CDL trucks, construction equipment, and utility equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a public service team. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Must obtain and maintain a Class B CDL with no equipment restrictions within six months of entering the position. Must obtain and maintain Class 1 and Class 3 (Class 7) Pennsylvania State Inspection Licenses for passenger and CDL vehicles. Mechanical, heavy equipment, automotive, construction, or skilled-trade experience preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights and in confined spaces, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be available for scheduled and unscheduled after-hours work and emergency response. Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, customer service, and public service.
