Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate at optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair environments and possess strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, diesel engine repair, and powertrain components. Excellent customer service skills are essential as you will interact with clients to provide updates on vehicle status and recommendations for maintenance. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Repair or replace defective parts such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of service quality. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or similar environment. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Experience with diesel engine repair is a plus. Proficient in maintaining powertrain systems and understanding transmission functions. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients. Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification) are preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
