Job Description
Overview Joe Davis Autosport is seeking a motivated C-Level Automotive Technician who is ready to advance beyond basic maintenance and build a career in European automotive repair. Family-owned and independent since 1990, Joe Davis Autosport is an established European repair facility serving Perkasie and the surrounding Bucks County community. Our 10-bay shop specializes in European vehicles, with an emphasis on quality workmanship, proper diagnostics, continued training, and long-term customer relationships. This position is designed for a technician who already has a solid foundation in professional automotive repair and wants to continue developing. You'll be responsible for maintenance and general repair while working alongside experienced European technicians and gaining exposure to increasingly advanced repair and diagnostic work. Our goal is not to hire a C-Level Technician and keep them at that level. We want to provide the training, experience, equipment, and opportunities for the right person to progress into a higher-level European technician. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and general repairs on European vehicles Complete oil and fluid services, brake repairs, tire services, and other scheduled maintenance Perform Pennsylvania safety and emissions inspections Complete accurate and thorough Digital Vehicle Inspections Assist experienced technicians with advanced repairs and diagnostic procedures Follow established repair, safety, quality-control, and shop procedures Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians regarding vehicle status and repair needs Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area Participate in training and continued technical development As your capabilities increase, so will the level of work and responsibility available to you. Qualifications We are looking for a technician who takes pride in their work, understands the fundamentals, and is serious about continuing to improve their technical abilities. 1-3 years of professional automotive repair experience Solid understanding of automotive systems, maintenance, and general repair Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions licenses Valid driver's license and clean driving record Familiarity with automotive diagnostic and repair tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to communicate and work effectively within a team Willingness to learn, train, and accept constructive feedback Desire to advance into higher-level automotive repair and diagnostics European vehicle experience, automotive or trade school education, and ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
