You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our heavy-duty fleet through expert diagnostics, precise repairs, and proactive preventive maintenance. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on critical vehicle systems, including braking, electrical, suspension, cooling, and drivetrain components. Perform rigorous preventive maintenance inspections to ensure fleet longevity and peak operational performance. Conduct road calls and field repairs to minimize vehicle downtime and maintain service continuity. Utilize advanced computerized diagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement effective, first-time fixes. Install and calibrate telematic hardware to support real-time fleet tracking and data integration. Maintain detailed digital records of all parts, labor, and maintenance activities to ensure accurate fleet management. Uphold strict safety and housekeeping standards, ensuring all work complies with DOT and local regulatory requirements. Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in diesel or medium/heavy-duty fleet maintenance. Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic software and fleet management systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound mechanical judgments. Ownership of a comprehensive set of hand tools appropriate for heavy-duty mechanical work. Demonstrated ability to plan and execute maintenance schedules effectively. Preferred Skills Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one within 90 days. ASE Certifications in areas such as engine repair, electrical systems, brakes, or suspension. Experience as a Master Truck or School Bus Technician.
