Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing issues and performing repairs on various vehicle systems. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent service while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. 5 day work week - Sundays Off. Duties Diagnose and repair automotive issues, including engine, transmission, brake systems, and air brake components. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Conduct brake repairs and tire services efficiently and effectively. Utilize diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle performance and identify problems. Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs. Upsell additional services or products when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction. Preform DVI inspections. Skills Proficient in automotive repair techniques and practices, including brake repair and tire service. Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to transmit findings clearly to customers. Experience in sales or upselling automotive services is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Knowledge of safety protocols related to automotive repair is essential.
