Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance solutions. In this role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Whether working on diesel engines, transmissions, or suspension systems, your skills will drive customer satisfaction and uphold our reputation for quality automotive care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and steering components. Service vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and shock & strut replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly. Repair and replace automotive electrical components, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other specialized features. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems on diverse vehicle makes and models. Deliver excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and providing professional recommendations for ongoing vehicle maintenance. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical components. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and software for precise troubleshooting. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of ADAS technology, diesel engine repair, auto body repair, auto estimating, GM vehicles familiarity is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; ASE certification is advantageous. $20.00 - $34.54 per hour
