Job Description

Seasonal Farm Equipment & Truck Mechanic — Potato Harvest Weber Farms is looking for an experienced mechanic to keep our harvest fleet running during potato harvest. This is a seasonal position running from just after Labor Day through the end of October, based between Moses Lake and Quincy, WA. Harvest runs long days and equipment doesn't wait, so we need someone who can diagnose a problem quickly, fix it in the field when possible, and keep crews moving. What you'll be working on Semi trucks and 10-wheelers with potato beds — engines, brakes, air systems, hydraulics, electrical Potato diggers and harvesters Piling and handling equipment Tractors and support equipment Preventative maintenance, in-field troubleshooting, and repairs What we're looking for Solid experience wrenching on semi trucks and farm equipment Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, prioritize breakdowns, and communicate clearly with crews and management Good driving record Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, through the harvest window Requirements Your own tools and toolbox Your own pickup truck to get between fields and shop — we cover your fuel Nice to have Prior potato harvest experience Welding and fabrication skills
Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
