Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to be exposed to dirt, dust, noise, cleaning solutions. Must be able to lift 50-80 pounds throughout the day. Must be able to communicate effectively with various departments. Must have good organizational skills and ability to keep accurate records. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to maintain accurate inventory records. Knowledge of construction, cable, mechanical and Microsoft office preferred. Experience with heavy machinery is preferred. Repair and maintain vehicle fleet.
Responsibilities:
Assisting Construction with loading/unloading as needed. Cleaning inside/outside of fleet. Assist with standard maintenance and janitorial. Maintain a clean and organized Facility & Yard Operate equipment and all forms of transportation. Assist with safety inspections and monthly vehicle inspections. Make repairs as needed on all vehicle components including but not limited to oil changes, tire rotations, and brake maintenance. Perform monthly vehicle inspections on all fleet Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles as required.
Requirements:
Experience:
2-5 years of experience as a mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment technician.
Mechanical knowledge:
Strong diagnostic and repair skells across multiple systems: Hydraulics
  • pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses. Electrical
  • 12v/24v DC systems, wiring harnesses, starter motors, and basic AC facility wiring. Engines
  • Routine servicing and troubleshooting of diesel and gasoline engines.
Welding & fabrication: Proficiency with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding for equipment modification, bucket repairs, or structural yard fixes.
Pay:
$25.00
