Maintenance Mechanic Located in Santa Rosa, CA, this full-time, day shift position offers a temp-to-hire path within a reputable medical manufacturing organization. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring that production machinery operates at peak performance and safety levels through diligent repair work, proactive maintenance, and strategic equipment upgrades. Core Duties Execute and maintain accurate logs for all preventative maintenance tasks on production machinery. Ensure the preventative maintenance calendar is strictly followed and all documentation remains current. Manage the inventory of necessary components and materials for ongoing repairs and maintenance tasks. Diagnose and resolve issues within electrical and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime. Operate various power and manual tools while adhering to strict safety protocols. Fabricate or adjust components to support machinery enhancements and repair requirements. Contribute to the overall improvement of equipment output, quality standards, and operational efficiency. Strictly observe all internal safety protocols, quality standards, and ISO regulatory requirements. Maintain clear and professional communication across various organizational departments. Utilize standard software applications including Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook. Complete additional tasks as required by management. Required Qualifications A minimum of five years of professional experience in a maintenance mechanic capacity. Comprehensive understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems. Completion of a High School Diploma or GED. Proficiency in utilizing both standard and metric measurement tools. Strong analytical abilities for effective troubleshooting and problem resolution. Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities. Fundamental proficiency with computer systems. Deep understanding of electrical safety standards to foster a secure work environment. Flexibility to adjust to shifting operational priorities and daily demands. Bilingual skills in Spanish are considered an asset. Prior background in ISO environments or electronics is highly desirable. Physical Demands Capacity to remain standing or walking for the majority of your shift. Ability to perform physical movements such as squatting, bending, reaching, and climbing near equipment. Capability to consistently lift and transport loads weighing up to 50 pounds.
