Property Management Company seeks full-time maintenance technician that would split time for apartment communities in the Smyrna, DE and the Elkton, MD areas. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities We are looking for someone who has exceptional handyman skills with some knowledge in light carpentry, electrical, plumbing and tile/vinyl flooring etc. Performs routine preventative maintenance tasks such as changing furnace filters, fixing clogged sinks or toilets. Replacement of stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, refrigerators, microwaves. Painting and drywall repairs Furniture assembly, hanging curtain rods and replacing window blinds Additional responsibilities presented upon application Requirements Must have a knowledge, skill and ability to perform a variety of general maintenance tasks. High School degree or GED plus 5 years maintenance experience Must own basic tools to perform daily duties Must pass basic pre-employment background check Emergency Maintenance Completes a rotation on call for the Emergency Call Service.
